Police arrest more than 20 in protest against budget cuts in Sacramento

A large protest at the State Capitol against budget cuts in IHSS, CalWorks and Medi-Cal has resulted in the arrest of  more than 20 demonstrators, many in wheelchairs. The protest, which included an effigy of the Governor and people being wheeled in hospital beds, was aimed at urging lawmakers not to cut state jobs and protect funds going to pay for health and human services.
