I have been unable to find where Meg Whitman says she will close down in-home support. You have frozen the supposed youtube.com video, consequently, I don’t believe it exists.
I hope Meg is elected. I remember Jerry the first time around, and that was a disaster!

Dear Cecilia,
The video of Meg Whitman is not frozen. If you click it will take you to a larger view where you can see the video full size. Meg Whitman is claiming there is a BILLION dollars worth of fraud in IHSS. The entire program only costs 1.4 Billion so she is stating there is a 70% fraud rate in homecare. This is the same type of false information that the Schwarzenegger administration pushed to the legislators and the media. It is very clear that Meg Whitman will cut homecare if she is elected. That is exactly what the Schwarzenegger administration has been trying to do every year. It is only because of legal action (lawsuits) where judges have agreed that the administration’s actions to cut services will endanger the disabled and elderly, that these reductions have been temporarily stopped.

I hope Meg Whitman is elected as well, Cecelia. I have also been through the Moonbeam regime and we can’t do that again. What a disaster he was and we should all be WaryOfJerry.
As to fraud? Sure there’s fraud in udwa as well as in our own state capital.
Having been a provider for two years, I see the takers all the time, those who use and abuse what, intially, was probably a pretty good system.
A system with big union backers always takes its toll on an economy because they’re kicking back to the politicians. Listen to the ads who advocate,or go tot he website to see who they support and vote accordingly. Take a look at the support this web site has for those running for office, it’s a disaster.
Do I think Meg can do it? Yes she can and I hope she does.
I believe that Governor Schwarznegger tried his best to get through to the democrats in California but they need their pork, their perks and their planes. Doesn’t help the people of California much. Our state unemployment rate is 12.4%, do you really think Pelosi needed to spend $101,000 on liquor for her entourage in January when the country was sliding down the hill? Even one of Boxer’s tried and true supporters has said “I found her plea to be odd, her convention speech to be stale and out-of-touch…”
I’ve been stumping for Meg Whitman since she hit the scene.
And will continue to do so.
Those voting for JerryBaby do so at their own peril and need to research the debacle that was jerry.

Any research done by those who support Jerry Brown is better than the obvious lack of research you’ve done to come up with your outrageous views. You are an IHSS provider, but you are more than willing to throw your fellow providers and those for whom they care under the bus.
As we’ve said over and over, IHSS is not a partisan issue. It was signed into law by Ronald Reagan and has been supported by Republicans as well as Democrats ever since. But you haven’t gotten the message. You’d rather join with Meg and kill IHSS than help save the program for the nearly half million elderly, blind and disabled Californians who need homecare.
Where’s your proof about widespread fraud and abuse in IHSS or in UDW? Have none? Then you’re just like Meg. You’re too busy throwing partisan insults around to learn the facts.
