Sacramento — The Senate met Saturday morning for less than an hour. There was no action on any budget revenue items.

The Senate approved three bills:

AB 122 – which augments general funds for a handful of departments and counties;

ABX1 19 – which extends until 2013 the Nursing Home Quality Assurance Fee and makes other related changes; and

ABX1 34 – which re-establishes the Senior Citizens and Disabled Citizens Property Tax Postponement Fund.

The Senate remains on call for the remainder of the weekend. The Assembly is not expected to convene until Monday.
