While the current IHSS program may work in some counties, such as Placer, it lacks consistency and statewide standards for all consumer and providers. That’s because each county has its own set of rules about wages, benefits, access to training and more. That’s why we’ve come up with an innovative alternative to further cuts that stabilizes long-term care for providers and create better heal outcomes for consumers.
