Video: Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Members Want to Protect the Rights of Middle Class Working Families in California

San Luis Obispo & Santa Barbara Participate in AFSCME Sponsored Political Training August 28, 2012. No on Prop 32 and Yes on Prop 30

Our members gained new skills and joined the fight to protect worker’s rights in California and across the country. Members had a chance to strategize over the upcoming November “Corporate Power Grab” ballot initiative, Prop. 32. This proposition would give the very wealthy and big corporations even more influence over our elections. It would take away union members’ right to pool their money to have a voice in politics. No on Prop 32 and Yes on Prop 30.— in Santa Maria, CA.
