Many home care workers think that having dues deducted from their paycheck automatically makes them a union member. Actually, to be a UDW member you need to have signed the membership card that came in your enrollment package.  Or print one now and mail it in to UDW (instruction below). Once you have become a member you have many privileges that you might not be aware of.

Filling out the membership card will not cost you any more than not being a member.  If you have any questions about the language on the card you can call us.  Make sure you include your social security number for validation.  After filling out your membership card, mail it to:
