June 4, 2015 Hundreds of homecare workers rallied and marched with child care providers on Wednesday at the State Capitol to urge lawmakers to pass SB 548 – The Raising Child Care Quality and Accessibility Act. The act would expand access to child care, provide training, authorize a study on how to best support parents, and extend collective bargaining rights to child care providers.
