Members of the super committee wanted to make drastic cuts to Medicare and Medicaid so that they could protect tax giveaways for corporations and the super rich. But, together with hundreds of thousands of advocates across the country, you helped stop them.

Unfortunately, we don’t have much time to celebrate. New plans are already being proposed that would undo last summer’s budget agreement.
