Homecare providers reach agreement with San Diego County

  Will bring $7.1 million in new state and federal funds to the region Homecare workers announced today that they have reached an agreement with San Diego County. The new contract secures additional state and federal resources for in-home care for seniors and San Diegans with disabilities. It increases wages for the county’s more than 20,000 In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) caregivers from $9.50 to $9.85 an hour — their first raise in more than four years.
