UDW opposes Congress’ latest attempt to weaken the Americans with Disabilities Act

Leaders in Congress have introduced new legislation to water down the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The bill, HR 620, is designed to let business owners off the hook for ADA compliance, allowing them to ignore accessibility issues until there are complaints and creating hurdles for anyone who complains. UDW caregivers in San Diego win much-needed raise in new agreement with the County

On Friday morning members of the UDW bargaining team reached a Tentative Agreement with the San Diego County Board of Supervisors.
