Ed Hernandez, D-West Covina convened an informational hearing of the Senate Health Committee on Thursday in Bakersfield to show “what is at stake should the Republican Congress follow through with its repeal plans” of the Affordable Care Act, according to his office. Yesterday, UDW caregivers from around the state gathered in Sacramento to urge Governor Brown to sign Assembly Bill 1930. We delivered petitions signed by over 3,600 IHSS providers and members of our communities to his office in the Capitol.
