Here’s how to join

PEOPLE is managed through AFSCME, our national affiliate, and is a fund designated for legislative and political activities including national presidential elections, and helping legislators friendly to homecare get elected at state and county levels.

While large corporations like health insurance and pharmaceutical companies are allowed to hire lobbyists and influence politicians through donations, unions do not use their members dues for political purposes. In order to do our work and represent our members politically we have a separate and totally voluntary political fund. We never use your dues money for political campaigns.
