UDW Site Map

How to use this website:

Thumbnail of Callifornia - Click to reach "Your County."

United Domestic Workers of America operates statewide and on national levels (working for you in Sacramento and Washington) as well as in your home county. This site has information about our state and national campaigns, as well as news about what is happening in your county. When you click on the "your county" link (or the "thumbnail" map to the left), you will see a full sized map of California where you may then navigate to your own county and find local news and resources.

Additionally, there are three ways you can find your way around our website, and get an "overview" of what it covers. We have "mapped" it extensively to make this an easy (and hopefully enjoyable!) process:

1. Browse the site using the navigation links on the left.
2. Use the Site Index
When you know exactly what you are looking for, or if you want to scan the whole site, use the alphabetical index.
3. Use the Interactive Table of Contents
This gives brief descriptions of what is on each page, and an overview of the website. It is a great introduction for first-time visitors.

*Final "search" tip: When you are trying to find something on a particular page, you can also hold down your "Control" key and click the "F" (for find). You will get a dialog box where you may enter the words or phrases you are looking for. This works in both Internet Explorer, and Netscape. It will not work for the entire website - only the page you are on.
